I have always been an extreme reader, I love buying new books and pretending to be in someone else's world for awhile. When I picked up this book Before I Die by Jenny downham I was drawn to reading the back cover. It caught my attention right away and I made the purchase. It says this book is about a girl whos 16 years old her name is Tessa, she only has a few months left to live and there are ten things she wants to do before she dies. You wouldn't think people would be drawn to reading about death because their is usually never a happy ending, which in this case I don't think there will be. The novel celebrates what it is like to be alive by confronting what it's really like to die. I think it will be a crazy, uplifting story that puts you in the spot of feeling more alive and not taking your own life for granted.
